Hatha Yoga is a path towards creating balance and the union of opposites, "Hatha": Ha-Sun Tha-Moon, two stars that represent the masculine and feminine respectively, their union being the search for balance between both energies.
Hatha Yoga encompasses physical aspects such as asanas or postures, mudras, breathing, meditation, mantras, and spiritual purification, to achieve inner work or awareness through relaxation and meditation, and attain mental stillness.
