The Cave

What is thalassotherapy?

Thalassotherapy is a therapy that harnesses the properties of salt water, which is especially beneficial when kept at a temperature between 34 and 36°C, close to body temperature. This heat facilitates osmosis, allowing the skin to absorb the water's beneficial elements, such as iodine and sodium.

The benefits of thalassotherapy are numerous and significant for both the body and the mind. Soaking in hot water pools activates blood circulation, relaxes muscles, stimulates the nervous system, and can reduce body pain, both overall and in specific areas.

Furthermore, this therapy contributes to mental well-being, helping to restore balance and lost energy, creating a feeling of rejuvenation and tranquility. Thalassotherapy is, therefore, a holistic experience that benefits both the body and the mind.

The Cave

At Zentik Project, we offer a unique experience: the opportunity to swim in a natural underground cave located 6 meters below ground. To access it, you pass through an impressive stone vault that leads to a pool of warm salt water, with temperatures ranging between 35° and 37° degrees.

Benefits of the Cave

This is a therapy in itself, known as thalassotherapy, which offers numerous benefits for both the body and skin. The warm water and sea salt combine to offer an exquisite experience that promotes deep relaxation.

Best of all, the cave is open 24 hours a day, at no additional cost to our guests.
